At kuozuo, real estate development is conceived through the principle of “life expressed in form”. kuozuo works one way: by articulating the inherent tranquility of life when the material is seamlessly synchronized with the spiritual. It is of striving for that persistant balance between man and nature, humanity and spirituality.

This approach to real estate development is intimately based on natural rhythms. Designs are strongly rooted in principles of sustainability and ecological stewardship. There is the recognition that real estate should be in conversation with all of life, expressing not only those conditions of its cultural and social environment, but also resonating with the rhythms of the natural world, adopting its patterns, textures and “spirit of place”, as stated by Christopher Day.

The creation of a ‘great space’, and hence great developments, takes into consideration not only functionality, rhythm, light, sound, balance and texture – with careful attention to every corner and detail – but also the relationships between the environment (space and place), behaviour (humanity), and health (well-being).
